If you do not see your property as a listing on our website, and you did not instruct us to take the listing down, and there are no renovations taking place, then it is highly likely one of the following situations is applicable.
Situation 1: Still occupied
There are many reasons why a property is not visible on the website of Student Housing The Hague. 9/10 times a property is no (yet) visible on the website, is due to the fact that the accommodation is i) currently occupied by a tenant, and ii) a pre-checkout (inspection) has not yet taken place.
Only once a pre-checkout has taken place, and it has been confirmed that the accommodation is not showing any defects which cannot be solved prior to the new lease starting date, the corresponding listing will be published on the website (and other media).
Situation 2: Law and legislation
If it came to our attention that the accommodation is not in line with any (new) legislation, we cannot publish it due to our duty of care. In that case, we will always pro actively inform you regarding this specific situation.
Situation 3: Booking process
When a (group of) potential candidate(s) already paid a deposit and signed the tenancy agreement, we will put down the advertisement until the guarantor(s) signed the guarantor agreement. This will only take up to 72 hours until it is clear if either a deal has been made or if it should still be put up as a listing.
